Ice Skating
Live up North? Have more snow than you can handle?
Ok, well there are still plenty of things you can do
to keep yourself off that couch. Grab your spouse or friends and learn how to ice skate! If you have
never skated before you can learn together and hold on to one another. Check out your local ice rink for beginner lessons too. If you know the basics, get creative and learn those dance steps on ice! Most rinks offer lessons for everyone whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced skater.

Remember, anything is better than sitting indoors on the couch ALL winter long and gaining those pounds.
Don't be afraid to try something new. Don't use that old saying "Can't teach an old dog new tricks" as an excuse for not
getting out and trying. Everyone can learn something new. You may not get to the Olympics with your skills,
but it sure beats putting on those extra pounds all winter long.
Better yet, have a special weekend you want to plan for? Try booking a room at a ski resort and practice some skiing.
Not keen on ice skating either?
