Football Anyone!
Football is a great family sport for all ages. However, it is also a physical, high impact sport that requires important safety protection, and you should check with your family physician to make sure there is no health risk in playing.
That being said, you now know the need to prepare and then learn the skills for you to start playing safely. There are instructional videos for beginners and for the competitive player to build strength and which also focus on multi-joints and lifting and endurance for muscles.
Here are some Pre-Football exercises to build skill and strength:
50-yard Sprint
Dumbbell Lunges and Curls
Pull-ups and Push-ups
Crunches
Football is about teamwork. Search for online videos that explain what it takes to block, how to tackle and throw the football, learn to make your opponent miss tackling you and how to drive him back. With the Internet you can learn how to play safe and with skill.
You can throw up some goals in your back yard or head to park. Play friends, family or join a recreational team. Anyone can play football anywhere.
