The Complete Mountain Biking Manual

How about Biking?

Biking with a loved one
Did you know that if you bike ride for an hour and maintain a speed of 20 mph you can burn as much as 1,100 calories?

For those who are not interested in maintaining this speed, biking is still great for burning some calories in a less stressful way. Even a light effort ride at 10 mph can burn hundreds of calories in an hour.
Bike riding is known to be a great tool for stress reduction.

For older adults who have problems with joints or unable to engage in other forms of exercise, biking is certainly a great way to increase strength, stamina and flexibility.

Find a golf course, park, or near the beach area and enjoy the scenery plus burn up some calories and tone those leg muscles. Many communities are now making streets bike friendly with bicycle paths, and city parks almost all have bike paths—from mountain biking trails to flat surface paths. Biking is indeed a sport without boundaries. An exercise bike, or stationary cycle, is another option you should consider if weather is a problem.

Ok, so you say no biking,

There has to be something! Playing football is fun and burns calories
